A magnificent newly renovated property located only ten minutes from the restaurant and nightlife center of Seminyak and Legian. Banyan Estate represents an interesting mix of Balinese and Western architectural features, offering a compound that blends into the surrounding rice fields and tropical flora, while sacrificing none of the modern-day comforts.

The Banyan Estate Villa is a magnificent newly renovated property located less than half an hour drive from the airport, and only ten minutes from the restaurant and nightlife center of Seminyak and Legian. Banyan Estate represents an interesting mixture of Balinese and Western architectural features, offering a compound that blends into the surrounding rice fields and tropical flora, while sacrificing none of the modern-day comforts. Named for the ancient and massive Banyan tree that dominates the land and the buildings, this compound boasts many modern amenities, allowing the guests to enjoy Bali vacation in style and comfort.

All the buildings are painted in warm earthy colors set off by the white deck, green grass, thatched roofs and green ivy flowing down from the second floor of the main house. Terrazzo has been used for all the floors, leaving them cool to the feet in the tropical heat of Bali. Ceiling fans are set throughout all the rooms of the property, and all the bedrooms have air-conditioning.  Variety of elegant antiques and Balinese statuary are displayed throughout the grounds of the estate.

The main house is made up of two floors with a large wrap-around deck on the second floor, topped by an alang-alang (thatched) roof. At one end of the ground floor is the dining room with its stately sixteen-seat wooden table that was custom built for the house. Separated by a wide counter and complete with bar stools, is a large open-plan western style kitchen with all the modern amenities. Adjacent, is the living room with a complete audiovisual center, as well as large couches opening out onto the sundeck. At the other end of the ground floor is a bedroom with en suite bathroom.

All these rooms look out onto the large white colored sundeck complete with deckchairs, hosting a twelve-meter blue tiled, kidney shaped swimming pool, plus a smaller pool adjacent which contains built-in seats suitable for lounging while escaping the heat.

There are three distinctive bedrooms upstairs. At one end is the master bedroom with its own marble tiled bathroom and large walk-in closet. This bedroom opens onto a large wrap-around deck that overlooks the rest of the estate. Two other bedrooms are at the other end of this floor, which share another marble tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. One of the bedrooms has a private balcony off the front of the house, whilst both can access the large wrap around deck through a door in the hallway.

There is guesthouse separated from the main house and the pool. It sits beside the river with a small wooden deck on its front and has an alang-alang roof similar to the main house. Contained within are two large bedrooms, each with its own en suite Bali-style (open-air) bathroom. The gym is available behind the guesthouse and next to the river in its own small building, again with an alang-alang roof.

In front, and off to one side of the main house, is the dining bale, containing a wooden antique table and eight chairs suitable for outdoor entertaining and dining al fresco. Between the guesthouse and the main house is another bale, a small, covered, raised pavilion that contains comfortable cushioned daybeds. This is normally used for relaxing outdoors when trying to avoid the sun, and provides an excellent venue for massages.

A staff of sixteen is on hand, providing all domestic services and 24-hour security, to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one.
